Coombe

📍 4.25 miles ⏱ 3 Hours ↑ 130m ascent Easy Mixed 🐾 Dog Friendly

Starting at the Tregothnan tea and gift shop at the water's edge in Coombe, this circular walk takes you on a truly tranquil trail that winds through the Tregothnan estate. Woodland, waterside paths are the main feature, every now and again emerging to find a tiny village with village green that may challenge even the most compact game of cricket. Or stumble upon a quaint cottage with breathtaking views across a field to the estuary. Unexpectedly popping out next to the Tregothnan tea plantation or discovering the ancient and beautiful Old Kea church are some of the best features of this walk. Finally, take a moment to notice the idyllic cottages (holiday let available) that herald the start and end of your adventure and be sure to pop into the aforementioned tea and gift shop for a very warm welcome and some well earned refreshment.
