Secrets of Cornwall is a hand-built guide to the county — the beaches, the walks, the tides, and the places worth your money. If you run one of those places, this page explains how it works.

We’ve spent the last six months building the directory ourselves — walking the towns, eating in the restaurants, drinking the coffee. Every place on the site is there because we rated it, not because anyone paid.
If you’re in Cornwall and you’re good at what you do, there’s a fair chance we’ve already added you. Have a look on the map.
What you’ll see is the free listing: your name, what you do, where you are, and a line or two from us. What you won’t see is a phone number, a link to your website, or your opening hours. That’s the bit you can add.

Your full listing goes up. We invoice you £49 by email. It renews a year later unless you tell us otherwise.
The questions people actually ask us
No. If we wouldn’t send a friend to you, we won’t list you — free or paid. That’s the whole point of the site, and it’s why being on it means something.
We’re a young site and we’re not going to quote you a number that flatters us. What we can tell you is who they are: people planning a Cornwall trip, checking the tide before a walk, or asking our guide where to eat tonight. Small, but the right people. The price reflects where we are.
Tell us and we’ll take you off. No argument.
You can tell us anything you like and we’ll use it. But the words on the page are ours — that’s what makes people trust them.
Because we’re early, and because we’d rather have a hundred good places on here at £49 than ten at £500. It’s a first-year price — it won’t stay there.
It renews. If you don’t want to carry on, say so before then and the listing drops back to free — you don’t disappear.
